Elkhorn School: (209) 953-8330
Poinsettia Delivery: Poinsettias will be delivered on Thursday, December 5th in the Multi-Purpose Room from 1pm to 3pm. Please direct any questions or concerns to Marie VerSteeg at (209) 401-8919. Thank you for your support!
Lost and Found: It’s that time again! Please have your student look through the lost and found before the winter break. Anything that is not claimed will be donated to a local charity.
District Spelling Bee Winner: Our very own 6th grader, Melissa Cabana won the Lodi Unified School District Spelling Bee! She will move on to compete in the County Spelling Bee. Congratulations to Melissa!
Crosswalk Changes: Due to a lack of pedestrian traffic in the crosswalk, we will no longer be providing a crossing guard before school. A crossing guard will still be provided after school. If your student does need to cross Davis Road in the morning, please remind them to do so at the stop lights.
Crossing Guard: If you feel a great need to don a yellow reflective vest and hold a STOP sign, then we have just the spot for you! Elkhorn is looking for an ‘on-call’ afternoon Crossing Guard volunteer to fill in when our regular Crossing Guard is absent. Please call the Office for more information at (209) 953-8330.
Parking Lot Volunteer Needed: Elkhorn is looking for a volunteer to monitor the parking lot during pick-up afterschool from 1:45pm-2:30pm. The volunteer will keep the traffic moving and make sure the rules of the lot are being followed. If you are interested, please call the Elkhorn Office at (209) 953-8330.
Homework Requests: Absent students are responsible for making up all missed work. Students absent for one or two days should expect to take care of missed work, tests, and assignments upon their return to school. Parents/Guardians may contact the office to request homework on the third day of an excused absence.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Please pull as far forward as you can in the parking lot before letting children get in or get out of the car. If you are going to park for any length of time, pull into a parking space - please do not park in the drop-off/pick-up zone around the outside of the parking lot and please do not double-park at any time. Please be patient to ensure a speedy and safe pick-up for our students. And remember - no left turns out of the parking lot.
