Middle School Spelling Bee: Congratulations and Good Luck to Amelia Ellison, the only 7th grader from our area advancing to compete in the County Spelling Bee on December 3rd!
Elementary Spelling Bee: Congratulations and Good Luck to 5th grader Anish Ahuja who won the North Stockton Elementary Spelling Bee and will now compete in the County Spelling Bee starting on December 1st.
Minimum Days: Tomorrow is a Minimum Day. Next Friday, December 19th is also a minimum day. School begins at 7:50am and dismisses at Noon for ALL students.
The Hour of Code is coming, again. Last year, 15 million students tried an Hour of Code in one week. Join students all over the world for an Hour of Code during Computer Science Education Week, December 8-14.
The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. Check out the tutorials at http://code.org/learn.

8th Grade Utopia Project
The 8th grade students in Mrs. Amaral's ELA class just finished reading The Giver by Lois Lowry. They made projects describing their Utopia and presented them in class. Kinda makes you want to go back to Middle School, eh?
